Harding Pens was formed in January 2005 following some research I did in 2004 and
the reactions I got to some of my woodturnings. I offered a few items up for sale and soon
found they sell themselves. There is something about the beauty God put into wood that is
so special. I work at exposing that inner beauty and then let the piece speak for itself.
I love to show my turnings and to my amazement, people ask to buy them. I have sold over
160 custom wood pens, plus many other woodturnings.

About Me
I am a professional engineer by trade, a woodturner by hobby and a evangelical
Christian by faith. I am married with three young boys and we are part of Summit
Community Church in Richmond Hill, Ontario.
I have been turning wood for about 20 years now. I took a long break when my kids
were born. I got back into it seriously in 2004.
Over the years I have built some furniture, created custom wood moldings for my old
house, and toyed around with many types of woodwork. Something about the lathe has
always fascinated me and I love the symmetric beauty of turned wood objects. Judging
by my first few years sales, others like these wooden objects too.
I would like to thank all my customers, family and friends who have supported me
during this start-up time. I thank God for the woodworking talents he gave me and the
courage to start this business.

Rocky Dundas taught on this section of second
Timothy on Sunday April 24. I was amazed at
how real it is today as well as when Paul wrote
it to Timothy 2000 years ago:
2 Timothy 4:3-4
3 For the time will come when men will not put
up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their
own desires, they will gather around them a
great number of teachers to say what their
itching ears want to hear.
4 They will turn their ears away from the truth
and turn aside to myths.
